Arches of Mont St Michel


The stone arches supporting the abbey of Mont St Michel often can  unnoticed, but they are more works of art than simply  structural supports.

Just off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea lies this strategic fortress, built stubbornly at the foot of a giant rock, called Gibraltar. A long exposure photo of the ancient ruins of the Roman forum taken in the twilight hours in Rome, Italy.
