This is a nice photo of the Tiber river which slowly runs through the centre of the 'Eternal City' - Rome, Italy. Venice's most famous place certainly has a lot of vacant seats. This is a nice portrait shot of the world renown square on a beautiful Summer's day in 2009. In the heart of the "Eternal City", Rome, there is a great fountain - the Trevi Fountain. This is a portrait shot from our visit there in 2009. Taken in Rome, this is the interior of the famous Colosseum, post-edited with a sketch filter. This delightful snap was taken in 2009 when we visited the charming old world town Burano, about 45 mins by ferry from Venice, Italy. Taken in the north of Venice, most of the city is a postcard waiting to happen! This is a HDR-processed shot of the arch of Septimius Severus located in the Roman Forum in the ancient part of Rome. The arch is still in excellent condition, especially compared to the rest of the forum. We have here a black and white rendering of a shot taken inside the ancient Trajan's marketplace in Rome. I had trouble trying to capture the raw detail of the structure whilst contrasting it against the sheer size of the marketplace itself, the contrast seemed better in black and white - especially for the foreground.
