Welcome to the British Museum

One of the highlights of my visit to London in 2009 was a visit to the British Museum. This shot is from the Great Court, which is simply spectacular.

Our little adventurer bravely navigates the excellent fortress at Commonwealth Park. Here's a nice candid shot of me exploring the vast ruggedness of the Great Canyon in Arizona in the United States in 2007. One of the highlights of my visit to London in 2009 was a visit to the British Museum. This shot is from the Great Court, which is simply spectacular. This scene is at the exit of the Nanjing Massacre museum, which is actually the site of mass graves from World War II. The statue and the dedication to peace is astoundingly moving but welcome. Taken from the grounds of Old Parliament House on Australia Day, this is a shot near the Aboriginal tent embassy. The letters paint a very visceral picture at the heart of Aboriginal affairs. Last year we visited Uriarra Creek which lies to the west of Mount Stromlo at the foothills of the Brindabella Ranges. This nice shot captures my eldest son Jake exploring the riverside.
